The HVTN: Strategic Accomplishments of the First Decade and Beyond

Tracey Day, Cecilia Morgan, Adi Ferrara, and Jim Kublin Welcome to a new edition of the HVTNews, the newsletter of the HIV Vaccine Trials Network. Our newsletter’s mission is to provide timely updates on the science of HIV vaccines, and the science of the HVTN. To that end, this issue features discussions that include innate immunity studies at the HVTN, the possible impact of the RV144 Correlates Analyses on future vaccine trials, and the Network’s ongoing commitment to its study participants via our VISP testing service. Our featured article in this issue is a look back at the Network’s achievements in 12 years of operation, and the impact it had on the HIV vaccine field.
